PhoneBasics là một phần mềm bao gồm rất nhiều tính năng như: Call Filter, Device Manager, Lost & Find, Ring Tone Manager, Task Manager, Airless Internet và StormNavigator (cho Storm/Storm2).

1. Call Filter

- Dễ dàng cài đặt với BlackList và White List. Tích hợp với PhoneLog của BB.
- Chỉ cho phép một vài số nhất định được gọi đến (WhiteList Rules)
- Đặt cho Rule active ngay hoặc đặt lịch activate Rule (mỗi Rule một lịch riêng), số điện thoại add vào các Rules có thể dùng ký tự đại diện (widecard support)
- Ghi log tất cả các cuộc gọi bị chặn
Và vào Log Settings, bạn có thể đặt cho nó lưu trong bao nhiêu ngày, và có option là xoá thông tin cuộc gọi đó trong Phone Log (chỉ lưu trong log của EZ CallFilter thôi)

7. StormNavigator
StormNavigator allows you use certain keys (Volume Up/Down keys, Convenience keys) to navigate on BlackBerry Storm and Storm2 phones, in similar way to the traditional trackwheel. While touch screen might be convenient in most time, this alternate navigation method proves to be useful, or sometimes even necessary:

- when the contents on the screen are too crowded for finger press
- when one-hand operation is needed
- at times when the screen doesn't respond to touch
