Để cài đặt thêm font chữ cho BlackBerry, chúng ta đã biết một số phần mềm như Fonts Collection hay Fonts Manager ... nhưng cũng có cách cài font chữ mà không cần các phần mềm trên. Trang BerryReview vừa giới thiệu, đưa lên đây luôn cho nóng

Chuẩn bị:
- Cài lên BlackBerry 1 phần mềm có thể zip/unzip như rock file manager hay filescout ...
- Thay đổi options cho chương trình có thể xem các files ẩn
- Tạo thư mục fonts trong /Device Memory/appdata/rim/
(hoặc có thể là /store/appdata/rim/)

Cài đặt fonts
- Download các file font dạng TrueType (.tff) mà bạn thích. ở đây sử dụng file Ubuntu-R.ttf để làm ví dụ
- Copy các files fonts đó vào thư mục /Device Memory/appdata/rim/fonts/ (hoặc /store/appdata/rim/fonts/)
- Đổi tên các files đó từ .ttf thành .font (VD: đổi tên Ubuntu-R.ttf thành Ubuntu-R.font)
- Khởi động lại BlackBerry, bạn sẽ thấy font đó xuất hiện trong phần cài đặt Screen Display

Chú ý: Mình đã trải nghiệm trên OS6 (anh em dùng BB OS 7 vào xác nhận xem sao)và theo đánh giá của một số anh em, chỉ có những font có dung lượng <60Kb mới load được
Và rất quan trọng là phải chọn chế độ Encryption là disable

*Note: The first time I did this, I had a font app installed & device encryption enabled and the fonts weren’t available after a reboot. If your having problems try turning off encryption before pasting the font or uninstalling your font app*
