Defense HD là một dạng game trí tuệ chiến thuật phòng thủ. Người chơi tưởng chừng như bị rơi vào một thế giới huyền bí bị phá hủy bởi một cuộc chiến tranh hạt nhân phải đối đầu với đám thây ma ăn thịt người. Tuy nhiên, các thây ma là không phải là mối đe dọa duy nhất bạn sẽ gặp! Đối mặt với một trong số những nhân vật được xem là khét tiếng nhất của lịch sử như : Dracula và Frankenstein! Giết sạch lũ đột biến bằng cách sử dụng lửa, điện, laser và nhiều hơn nữa! Chiến trường mà bạn trải qua đều là những địa điểm đặc biệt như rừng mưa Amazon, Tam giác quỷ Bermuda.... ! Bạn phải sử dụng sức mạnh hạn chế của bạn về lượng quân lính để xây những tháp phòng thủ nhằm đối mặt với những đối thủ mạnh hơn rất nhiều , bạn phải có chiến thuật để tồn tại!
