BlackBerry vẫn không ngừng hỗ trợ cho các thiết bị cũ, họ vừa có bản cập nhật cho BlackBerry Desktop Software (chúng ta vẫn hay gọi tắt là BDM). Phiên bản mới v7.1.0.41 hỗ trợ tốt hơn trên Windows 8, PlayBook OS 2.1, cải thiện cơ chế đồng bộ (Media Sync). Bạn có thể đồng bộ toàn bộ dữ liệu với 1 nút Sync All.
